After 15+ years experience across social impact, charities and advertising, co-founders Elizabeth & Peter found an underlying truth across all their work. No matter our differences - a good story can make a big impact.
Then we hired James
Chief Technology Officer
Don’t get us wrong, we love having a laugh over trashy telly or a good cry at a hopeless rom-com. But what we love more is that movies & tv connect us to real issues, help us better understand ourselves, and open our eyes to lives we might’ve otherwise never seen.
After brainstorming ideas, developing tech, and binge-watching Silicon Valley, good.film was born. At its core, the platform is about deepening your understanding of the topics that matter - by watching movies & tv shows you’ll always love. That second part is important. Because if you don’t love what you’re watching, how are you going to truly connect to the message?
Co-founder, Elizabeth Tyler
Now we’re a growing crew of developers, designers and writers, working hard to create a platform that always gives you the stories worth discovering.
Just tell us all the things you’re into - and we’ll create a feed of stories you’ll love.
PS - we’re all super active on good.film. So make sure to keep an eye out for @leonmurrayvo’s hot take on the social impact of new releases or @elizabeth’s throwback reviews of cult classics. See you on the viewsfeed. Love, the good.film team 🍿
We mourn the tragic loss of Peter Slee and acknowledge that without his vision and dedication good.film would never have come into existence. His legacy lives on in every endeavour we pursue. ❤️
