On the fence about what to watch next? Maybe these comments from the good.film community will get you in the mood. Cheers for all the reviews, people!
@alisonmclennan: “There's an interesting phenomenon happening in hollywood at the moment... multiple films coming out about older women with younger men. Frankly, I'm here for it.”
@anthemfox: “Maybe the fact that I was snuggled on the couch with my wife on a rainy, lazy Saturday afternoon with a self-saucing chocolate mug pudding drizzled with cream helped put me in the right headspace for it. My tolerance level was high.”
@justasksiri: “Surprisingly profound… From gender identity to xenophobia to abortion and beyond, it tackles several complex issues and isn’t afraid to make statements or raise uncomfortable questions.”
@sandshoes: “Can I say how good it is to see some LGBTQIA+ rom-coms emerging? At the risk of sounding cliche, Love IS love, and why, for so long, have we only seen heteronormative representations on our screen?”

Something Inspiring…
Olympics not your thing? Here’s some fierce competitors of a slightly different stripe… the world’s first all-quadriplegic e-sports gaming team. This captivating Binge doco not only challenges assumptions about disability, it also spotlights the restorative power of community.
Something Mouthwatering…
Discover the story of humanity… one ingredient at a time. Across 8 eps, this lush AppleTV+ series celebrates the explosive ingredients that built societies, shaped beliefs, and forever altered the tapestry of humankind. A salty, spicy treat, you’ll never look at bluefin tuna or Rwandan coffee beans the same way again.
Something Superpowered…
A sci-fi story with a difference, bruv! Netflix’s gritty London-set miniseries focuses on five normal people who suddenly develop super powers… and the only thing that connects them is that they’re all Black. It’s a highly original take on the superhero genre, with themes of loss, love, and socio-economic status.
Pixar’s no stranger to success, but they’ve just hit uncharted territory. Their mental-health friendly sequel Inside Out 2 has just crossed the $1.5 billion dollar mark at the worldwide box office - claiming the crown as the highest-grossing animated movie of all time.
It’s clearly resonated in a major way with audiences all over the planet, so what’s the universal secret? When we broke down the film last month, we pointed to both the relatability of hyper new character Anxiety and the satisfying portrayal of Riley’s “sense of self” as key ingredients to its winning formula.
The film is proving to be hugely important, especially for tweens and teens. We summed it up this way: “By cracking open complex feelings and springing them into eye-popping life, Inside Out 2 is a film that could truly help teens AND the people who love them.”

To many, he’s the greatest ever. Now we’ve got our first look at the new Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, with the Rolling Stone himself played by Timothée Chalamet. Here’s the outline:
“In 1961, 19-year-old Bob Dylan arrives in New York City… but as his gigs in downtown clubs propel Dylan to a cultural phenomenon, his strong relationships and his sound altogether, begin to change and confuse…”
The film’s directed by James Mangold, who steered Joaquin Phoenix to an Oscar nomination for playing another legendary crooner, Johnny Cash, in 2005’s Walk the Line. So can he repeat the trick?
Also starring Ed Norton and Elle Fanning, you can check out the trailer for the HIGHLY anticipated A Complete Unknown below. And yep, that’s really Chalamet himself singing in Dylan’s distinctive nasal drawl – and getting huge praise online from diehard Dylanologists.
